Twenty years on and HIV and AIDS are destroying more lives than ever, scarring entire nations, leaving behind more than rows upon rows of home-made gravestones: children are orphaned at a shocking rate – one child every 15 seconds.

But the story does not end here. This is where you come in along with us and local churches across the world standing shoulder to shoulder. This is where we work to bring childhood back.

When parents die of an AIDS-related illness and leaves their children behind, a new form of family is created: the child-headed household.
