climate change - the overview

When we talk about “global warming” and climate change it can be difficult to think about the consequences that our lifestyles have on the world and the people living in it.  However think about it we must because climate change is happening and it’s hitting the poorest hardest, NOW!

Tearfund’s climate change campaign is about seeking justice in a changing climate.  It’s simply not right that those who add least to the problem of global warming are being most affected by it.

We know climate change centres around carbon dioxide emissions, and as the UK is one of the largest emitters of CO2 our current lifestyles are a particular threat to people living in poverty.

This webzone explores the issue of climate change from an individual level and a wider governmental perspective.
