The idea of the Front room Fundraiser couldn’t be simpler: get some mates in, put on some form of entertainment that costs as little as possible, get everyone to pay whatever they can afford to be there and tell them all about child-headed households while you’re at it.

Below we have some downloads to help you prepare your Front room Fundraiser:

1. Get some brilliant ideas on how to theme your evening and ensure its the best party around, by downloading this:
Front-room fundraising guide (PDF, 188K)

2. Once your planning is underway, print out invites to get all your mates along:
Event invite (PDF, 2.4M)

3. For even more advertising, get some posters up in your front room window or college noticeboard:
Poster (PDF, 1.8M)

4. For the keen beans among you, this promo script could be useful at the event to help you raise awareness among your friends of the issues surrounding HIV:
Promotional script (PDF, 186K)

5. You might also like to fill people in on where your money goes, so all the info is here:
Where your money goes info sheet (PDF, 185K)

6. And finally, when you've raised the cash, you can donate it to Tearfund online by clicking here.

If you are moved by some of what you have read here and are feeling inspired to delve in further, why not spend some time with a few friends or your small group, and seek more of God's perspective on it all:
