fairtrade man

Fairtrade Fortnight 2007 is now a distant memory.

You may remember our very own Ben Clowney who lived off of the national minimum wage in Lent 2005. In 2006 he bought only fairly traded clothes and in 2007 he became Fairtrade Man!

The Challenge: to only eat foods with the Fairtrade Mark for the whole of Fairtrade Fortnight!

Ben wanted to prove that fair trade is far more than just tea, coffee & chocolate! Amazingly there are over 2000 products now available with the Fairtrade Mark.

Did he succeed? Did he survive? What did he eat? We set up www.myspace.com/fairtrademan so you could read all about his fortnight of adventures in Fairtrade, and find out what comes next!
