  • This role requires someone who can inspire, motivate and develop relationships with youth workers, students and church leaders within the region.
  • Experience of communicating directly with young people and students is desirable. Strong organisational and interpersonal skills are also required.
  • Training includes:

- A two week overseas trip to visit Tearfund partners in the developing world - A discipleship training course - Tearfund training on issues of poverty; good development practice; time management; child protection; understanding the needs of a community; and presentation skills, amongst others. -

  • Programme runs from September to August, with placements located across the country.
  • Cost for the year is £1800, which includes the overseas trip, Tearfund training, the discipleship training course and expenses.
