What do we look for in a leader?
You ideally need to have previous overseas experience and have been in a position of leadership of some kind before. In particular this year we require leaders with language skills in Portuguese, Spanish or French, although this is not essential for all teams. What’s in it for you?
As well as giving you invaluable practical experience in a cross-cultural situation, our leaders come back invariably saying how much of a privilege they have found it to lead a team, and how much God has taught them through the experience. We do all we can to support our team leaders with practical advice and through group training sessions. There will be a leaders training day at the beginning of July, which will help you develop your skills further. Transform teams are always led by two co-leaders or a leader and assistant, so don't worry, you won't be on your own!
How do I apply?
In addition to completing the standard application form print off and fill in the Leaders Application Form and return them both to us. As part of our recruitment process we will require you to have a leader's interview before, or during the orientation event that you will be on.
Please note that we do not have team leaders on our 4 month programme (various team roles instead). The role of leaders is applicable to our other programmes.
